Full Job Description

We are searching for Outreach Mental Health Therapists, for our behavioral/mental health team here at Community Services Institute (CSI). Our clinicians provide counseling services for adult, adolescent, and children via telehealth or in-person from our Springfield location. The clinician must have training and knowledge on trauma, mental, and behavioral health with the effects it has on people of all ages. This role also asks for an individual to complete progression notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other documents in a timely manner.

About us:

Community Services Institute (CSI) was developed, using a community outreach model as a response to the de-institutional movement of the early 1980s. During this time, long-term psychiatric hospitals were replaced with community mental health services. CSI strives to offer outreach therapeutic services in a variety of settings including home, community, schools and now telehealth.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Provide psychotherapy and support to children, individuals, and families via telehealth and approved locations for one-on-one sessions. A case load of 50% under the age of 12 is required
  • Collaborate with CSI’s psychiatry and Therapeutic Mentor program
  • Self-motivated Behavioral/Mental Health Clinician who is looking for the flexibility of private practice, but with the support of a team
  • Complete assessments and develop goal-directed treatment plans
  • Some evenings are going to be required
  • Maintain 22 billable hours per week


  • Masters’ Degree (60 credit minimum) in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
  • Eligible for LICW, LMHC or LMFT
  • Bilingual and culturally fluent highly desirable (Spanish/English)
  • Massachusetts CANS certification required
