Human Resources Intern
The Finance/Admin office of Community Services has a part-time, unpaid internship available for the spring 2019 semester. The hours/days are flexible and designed to meet requirements for credit.
Applicants should be enrolled as full-time students in an accredited college or university. The position will need the written approval of the student's faculty adviser.
The intern will work under the supervision of the Clinic Business Manager. The Intern will learn the specifics of documenting and retaining employee information including: health records, FMLA, Worker’s Comp, ACA, and employee disciplinary investigations. The intern will also have the opportunity to assess the current structure of the various departments within Community Services.
The primary objective for spring 2019 is evaluating positions and creating job descriptions for all current positions.
